Why we do what we do
As people who enjoy a good drink, good food, and good company, we felt it was a great opportunity (and a great excuse) to build something that allowed us to experience these things regularly. With a bit of alcohol and lots of luck, we were given the trust of our friends at Old Pilot's Spirits. The joy we had when we tasted something amazing (Old Pilot's Gin) and being able to share it with people we love, gave us a whole other level of excitement. Being able to build on this, and bring other brands, products and experiences that don't yet exist in Singapore, adds to the satisfaction immensely.
Why Mamashop
We know it sounds weird to think of a Mamashop selling premium (read: not cheap to some) products. The idea is not just to sell a whole bunch of random stuff. The idea behind the name, albeit a nod to 3 mamas starting a shop, was to create a community-centric environment. An environment for us to share what we love and bring that experience to the Kampung.
Being able to create access to amazing producers and distillers, is the perfect medium for us to connect friends and family together. Just like a mamashop is often a convenient place to get something you need, but with a smile and sometimes a "how is your mother doing ah boy?", Mamashop Inc. aims to have the connection and experience with our clients.
